Hi girls! Remember when I promised I would do a review on the i-Divine Palette by Sleek?
Well, today is that day! I’d like to be honest and confess that I totally forgot about it. I’m so sorry; I hope I can make it up to you guys! Sleek’s Bronze Block is also shown on the picture, but today I will only focus on the i-Divine palette. Read along to know my thoughts about this palette! The palette consists of 12 eyeshadows in the natural or nude colour-scheme. There are 4 shimmery eyeshadows, 2 with a satin finish and the rest of the palette is matte. The palette comes with a two-sided applicator, but since I like to use my own brushes I never use these. Sleek i-Divine Au Naturel palette

My Sleek i-Divine Au Naturel favourite colours

My favourite colours to work with are Nougat, Taupe, Conker, Mineral earth and Noir. As you can see, I’m more of a fan of the darker colours. I personally think that they have a lot more pigment than the upper row. I really had to put a lot of product on my arm to be able to notice the upper row swatches. The eyeshadows are also powdery so it’s best to “push” the eyeshadow onto your eyelid and not simply brush it on.

I’m a bit confused on how a lot of people are quite happy with this palette, since I’m feeling a lot less satisfied. The eyeshadows are very powdery and fade much quicker when I try to blend my colours. I’ve swatched the palette two times (since the first set of pictures didn’t do them justice) and then used it for the eyelooks. So I haven’t used it that much and I’m already starting to hit the pan on a few colours (mostly the light ones). I don’t know what to think of it. I just hope I got my hands on a faulty palette because it seems so very odd that this product is praised by many and yet I find it not worth of my money. What makes it even stranger is that I am satisfied with the Bronze Block pictured at the top. Guess I’ll have to try out some other products of Sleek!

Here you can find the light and the dark eyelook I’ve put together for this palette:

Light eyelook

For this look I started with applying Honeycomb all over my eyelid. In my crease I used Cappuccino and a little bit of Noir in the very outer corner. On my lower lashline I used Nubuck. To finish, I used Nougat in the inner corner of my eye to add some light.

Dark eyelook

I used Nougat all over my eyelid as a base and on my brow bone as a highlighter. On the middle and outer lid I used Regal. On my lower lash line I traced with Regal from the outer corner to the middle of my lower lashes. For my crease I used Mineral Earth in the outer corner of my eye with Noir to darken it a bit. I used Taupe in the inner corner of my eye to give a little shimmer.
