I can’t believe 2015 is almost over! It’s time to reflect on what this year has brought for Anverelle. Let me start off with thanking each and every one of you! Because readers are the most important part of blogging. They really are. You can write top notch posts but if no one is visiting it’s not quite working, is it? ;-)
And those awesome readers came, and there were a whole bunch of you guys! In 2015, Anverelle was visited by 10,288 lovely readers! Can I just insert that heart-eyes emoiji right here? I never thought I would have so many visitors in the second year of blogging, and I’m extremely humbled by your uplifting messages across the blog and social media. I think it’s so much fun to interact with all of you on Instagram and Facebook and I would love to continue to do so in 2016!
It’s obvious you came with a whole lovely bunch of people to visit Anverelle, but what did you guys read the most?
What were the most loved and popular posts this year? Here’s a top-ten list of your all time favourites of 2015!

Of course Anverelle is mostly about beauty, but it was such a pleasure finding out that many readers loved to follow my fitness journey with Bikini Body Guide! Around June I started the pre-training (4 weeks) and afterwards I did the full 12 weeks program. I’ve definitely noticed progress and results, so I’ll absolutely keep on going with the BBG! If you click on the link above, you’ll be redirected to my review and you’ll be able to see my before and after photos! ;-)
This year, H&M launched their Beauty Department! Lots of people were super excited for the completely revamped make-up collection by H&M and the stores practically flooded with make-up enthusiasts ;-) I managed to bring home quite some things, so I decided I’d do a first look and it turned out to be a great post! :-)
I’m a huge fan of making pictures and Instagram, but every so often I enjoy making videos too! I was invited by Vibbidi to review their video editing app/platform, and made two videos with it. You can find both of them on Instagram (here and here)! I found their app quite easy to handle, so if you love editing videos go take a look!
One of the Fall trends I’ve loved most this year, was glowing skin. It looks so youthful and healthy! :-) A nourishing foundation is a must for this look, but also strategically placed highlighter. I’ve really come to appreciate highlighters more because of this trend!
I think this was my first foundation review on Anverelle! It’s a foundation stick by Bobbi Brown, which I’m still very happy with to this day! It gives a very natural finish and it so easy peasy to apply! If you’re still in the market for a nice foundation (all day, err day!) and if you like sticks, I’d recommend you to check out this foundation.
As I mentioned earlier in this post, H&M Beauty sparked quite some interest among beautybloggers! I managed to bring home two eyeshadow palettes, Smokey Nudes being the one pictured above. If you’re not sure which palette to get and if you want to check out some swatches, this review will help you with that!
An oldie, but a goldie! This is actually a post from September 2014, but it still got some attention this year. This post will help you determine what kind of glasses would suit you best, as it looks at your face shape. Confession: I usually wear contacts, but every once in a while I like to wear my glasses when my eyes are tired or I feel like I need an extra accessory! I might do something with glasses in the future, as a close friend of mine will be opening an optics store this year.
Favourite moisturizer alert! As far as I’m concerned M.A.C. can’t do much wrong with me, as does their skincare. I’ve repurchased this moisture-locking beauty quite a few times now and I’m still in love. When I’m done experimenting with another day cream, I guarantee you that I will always fall back on this one. Applying this before your foundation just makes it look so much better and smoother!
Phew, we’re almost there! ;-) Here’s the other H&M Beauty palette that I bought: Midnight and Silver! I was less enthusiastic about this palette then I was with Smokey Nudes. Not because of the colours, because I thought those were actually good as a palette but rather because of the quality drop. A bit of a pity really, because I was hoping for this one to turn out awesome.
And the last most loved post was my Benefit giveaway! I hosted a giveaway to celebrate my 1-year-anniversary in August and it was my first one ever. I really enjoyed picking out something nice for an awesome reader and reading all the comments. I hope I’ll be able to do some more giveaways in 2016, so keep an eye out on Anverelle.com and on Instagram!
